Urgent Complaint: Engine OFF Push Notifications Not Working on iPhone

by Mohammad Mainulhasan <mohammadmainulhasan79@gmail.com> - 24-Oct-26 09:46:26

Dear Dupno Management and Technical Support Team,

I am writing to formally escalate a persistent and unresolved issue with Engine Stop/Engine OFF push notifications on iPhones while using your Dupno Tracker service.

Vehicle Registration Number: Dhaka Metro-Ga 45-1572

Over the past month, I have called your customer service team numerous times regarding this issue. Each time, I have been assured that the matter is being investigated, that your team is working on it, and that the problem will be resolved. However, despite these repeated assurances, there has been no solution.

On several occasions, your customer service team asked me to test the service using an Android phone. I followed your instructions, and the Engine OFF notifications worked correctly on Android. However, the same notifications still do not arrive on our iPhones.

Your team has already acknowledged that the notifications work on Android but fail on iOS. Therefore, this is not simply a matter of asking customers to check their settings or try another device. It appears to be a technical issue with your iOS application or notification system that requires attention from your technical and development team.

I would also like to raise an important question:

My family uses three phones, including my wife’s phone, and all of them are iPhones. Are we expected to change all our phones and switch to Android just to receive the basic vehicle security notifications that we are entitled to expect from your service?

It is unreasonable to expect customers to change their personal devices because a feature of your service does not work on iOS. Customers should not have to change their preferred mobile operating system to use a service they are already paying for.

Engine OFF notifications are an important vehicle security feature, not an optional convenience. I chose Dupno Tracker with the expectation that these essential alerts would work reliably.

I therefore request the following:

  1. Immediate escalation of this issue to your senior technical and software development team.
  2. A clear explanation of why Engine OFF notifications work on Android but not on iOS.
  3. A permanent technical solution for iPhone users.
  4. A specific and realistic timeline for resolving this issue.
  5. An alternative alert mechanism, such as SMS or phone calls, until the iOS issue is fixed.

Please review the history of my previous complaints and customer service calls before responding. I do not want to receive another generic assurance that the matter is being looked into. I expect a substantive response explaining what action is being taken and when the problem will be resolved.

I have already spent considerable time following up on this issue over the past month. I now expect Dupno to take ownership of the problem and provide a proper resolution.

I look forward to your prompt response.

Sincerely,
Md. Mainul Hasan( Paplu)
